Leeds United head into this afternoon’s huge clash against Barnsley on the back of significant injury blow, after Kalvin Phillips was this week ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
The midfielder suffered a knee injury in the 1-0 victory over Swansea City at the weekend with the club confirming that he faces five weeks on the sidelines.
That rules him out of the tea-time clash against the Tykes as well as the two remaining fixtures against Derby County and Charlton Athletic as Leeds look to get over the finish line and book a place in next season’s Premier League.
Ben White is set to move out of defence to replace Phillips in midfield, which will leave Bielsa with an adjustment to be made at the back. Gaetano Berardi is the leading candidate to replace White in the back-four, with another option being moving Luke Ayling to centre-back and switching up the full-back roles.
Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla is available again after he completed his eight-match suspension, with Bielsa coy on whether the Spaniard would replace Illan Meslier between the sticks, following a series of good displays from the young Frenchman.
Here is a look at the squad of players Bielsa has at his disposal for tonight’s match:
